Vets have a tough job. They have to take care of sick animals who can’t tell the vet what exactly is wrong with them. But even though vets have a difficult job to do, that doesn’t stop them from having a great sense of humor! Check out 12 of the funniest vet signs below.

What is it about some dog breed names sounding like pure filth? Cockapoos take the top spot for the rudest sounding name, but Shih Tzus have to be a close second. We think this sign is the perfect way to catch the eye of any pet owner who has a sense of humor.

A cappuccino and a free kitten? What could possibly go wrong? With your hyped-up child and your new kitten to take home with you, prepare for absolute chaos. It’s probably best to keep your kids close to your side at this veterinary practice.
3. Ohh watch me, watch me
In case, like us, you’d forgotten that this song ever existed, then let us to the honor of reintroducing it to you. Getting your animals neutered can be quite a nerve-wracking experience for owners, but the Animal Health Clinic will put you right at ease. It’s a great lullaby to sing to your pets as they recover, as well.
4. Free lap dances!
Now this is the kind of lap dance that we’d be up for going to see. Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital is well known by locals for producing some hilarious signs, many of which feature in this post. Give their marketing team a pay rise, ASAP!
5. Claimed by the dogs
Everyone knows the instant dilemma you face when you drop that delicious piece of chocolate cake on the floor that you’ve been thinking about all day. On the one hand, it’s probably filthy – but on the other hand, you’ve literally been looking forward to this moment all day. With a dog, you’re saved the dilemma of whether or not you should eat the cake – since the dog will have already scoffed it up within 2 seconds of it falling to the floor. Problem solved.
6. Is this the reason why they went extinct?
Next time your dog throws a strop about having to go to the vets, just read this sign out to them. With random meteor showers, volcanic explosions, and tsunamis to worry about, we’re sure that the vets were the last thing on a dinosaur’s mind back then. Who knows, a regular checkup just could have been the thing to save them.
7. Fifty shades of spay
We love how these vets are bringing light to what is quite a nerve-wracking op for both pet and owner. Since we all know what Fifty Shades of Grey is actually about, the irony of this sign isn’t lost on us.
8. A joke for the dads
Veterinary clinics cater to all customers, and Vestavia Animal Clinic is clearly targeting the dads with this energizer bunny joke. Was it terrible? Yes. But did we laugh? Indeed we did.
9. Who’s the daddy?

Is there anything better than an incredibly risky play on words? The funny thing is, this whole song could actually be turned into one hilarious doggy parody. We dare you not to sing along.

The best thing about this sign is that it has absolutely no relation to the vets in any way- bar the mention of cats. But is it still a great way to attract new customers and put a smile on people’s faces? Absolutely.
12. They better not balls this up
It’s another neutering joke, and they just keep on getting better and better. In a literal and figurative sense, this sign is speaking pure facts. If only our poor pets knew about the jokes we were making in their expense…
