There’s nothing better than coming home and being greeted with welcoming hugs. Whether it’s from your children, spouse, or loved ones – it’s nice to have people really excited to see you!
Unfortunately, you can’t guarantee every day is going to be like a scene from a movie (sometimes your family might not even be home). But you know who you can rely on to be thrilled every time you walk in the door? Your dog, of course!
It’s absolutely heartwarming seeing your pooch’s tail wag and having them cover you with kisses after a long day of work. Even if you just run to the store, they’re usually happy just to have you back.
In a video that’s gone viral, a new pet owner experiences what it’s like to return home and be greeted by an excited puppy. The footage is so darn adorable, it likely explains why it’s been viewed more than 10 million times!

Dogs are known for having sensitive hearing, so it makes sense yours might be waiting at the front door even before you open it.
The pooch in the video is sitting in a room when he starts hearing sounds coming from outside the door. He perks up and is curious about the noise – however, being so young he probably doesn’t know for certain what it means. His tail starts wagging some as he’s likely wondering, “Is mom home? Is mom home?”
It’s getting more and more exciting…
Once the door to the house starts making sounds and moving, the Shibu Inu’s tail wags even faster. And then he sees her – sure enough it is mom!
The pup is so happy he doesn’t even know what to do with himself.
Instead of running straight over to his owner, he dances and hops around with his tail wagging like crazy. Apparently, this boy’s had a long day and he’s ready to play!
When mom squats down and puts out her hands the puppy runs right over.
He’s unable to control how happy he is that she’s home, and is full of love and gives some kisses. But most of all, his energy level is through the roof and it seems like he just wants mom to be his playmate.
The little guy jumps up on her and bounces on the floor creating the most precious scene. Someone, please get this woman some sneakers because this dog’s ready for some fun!

Most people know what it’s like to have a hard day at work, or perhaps feel overwhelmed by the stresses of daily life. Yet, when you return home to a moment like this it helps all your cares fade away.
