For a long time it was considered that parrots were only capable of mimicking the moves they see but in recent times, scientists discovered that parrots are capable of recognizing the musical beat and dancing to it.

The knowledge provides us a new insight into these fascinating avians. Don’t be afraid to play music to your parrot if you have one! Don’t play it too loud, however, as loud noises can upset your bird. They love anything that has a good beat so you can play pretty much any genre, from classical to dance and hip hop!
