Fritz Mortimer is somewhat of a social media legend. The sassy dog has such a hilarious personality that his owner, Bret, decided that he would benefit from his own Instagram account. Fritzmortimer now has over 25k followers, and features tons of cute snaps and videos of Fritz that are sure to put a smile on your face.

But one of our favorite videos actually comes from Bret Mortimer‘s own YouTube channel – though it obviously features Fritz. In the video, the poor dog had just paid a visit to the dentist, and the look on his face clearly shows exactly what he’s thinking.
“Fritz was mad I took him to get his teeth cleaned and would not look at me afterward. The coldest shoulder…he’s a human trapped in a dog’s body, I swear.” Bret captioned the video.
Since being posted in July 2019, the video has racked up an impressive 2 million views as people just can’t get enough of the sassy dog’s reaction to his dentist trip.
Fritz, look at me. I’m sorry I took you to the dentist,” Bret says in the hilarious clip. “I’m so sorry! You won’t even look at me.”
Meanwhile, Fritz is faced determinedly in the other direction, looking out of the car window. He’s clearly giving Bret the cold shoulder, and he looks so human-like that we can’t help but laugh.
“Come on buddy, just look at me once. You’re not gonna talk to me?” Bret says, as Fritz continues to stare out of the window. “Okay buddy, I love you very much. I had to do it!”
But still, this isn’t enough to improve the funny dog’s mood. He can’t understand why his owner would have taken him to such a horrible place, and he wants her to know just how upset he is.
Of course, a dentist checkup every now and then is pretty important for dogs, as they don’t brush their teeth every day like us humans do. And as much as Fritz doesn’t understand why he had to go, we’re certain that his bad mood will be forgotten about as soon as he gets home and has a nice tasty treat.
People took to the YouTube comments to share their love for Fritz, with one person saying, “His soul is hurt…he definitely eating a shoe or two with those teeth you just had cleaned.”
Another added, “Dog thinking: Ignore her…Ignore her apologise….resist…must resist….uhh cuddles…MUST RESIST.”

A final person said, “Just so we are clear, next time you ask “Want to go for a ride in the car”? The answer is no, it will always be no. I can’t even…”
