Big dogs have a reputation for being mean and aggressive.
But more often than not, that’s just not the case.
While they might look imposing, some are just big teddy bears.
Some pit bulls are just gentle giants.
Gentle enough to care for a child.
And some of them even make great babysitters.
Take this massive dog for example.
This extremely large fellow loves hanging out with this tiny baby pup.
He’s careful not to overwhelm the little tyke with his frame but still makes sure they’re cuddled up and the pup is kept safe.
He decided that he was going to babysit the pup.
No one was going to mess with the little pup on his watch.
No way, no how.
But this little pup wasn’t going to make it easy.
He wanted to play.
The tiny little dog began squirming around and nibbled on his ears.
But like a good babysitter, the larger black dog knows how to handle it.
He just lays his massive head down on the floor and settles down.
It automatically signals to the puppy to calm down a bit.
Puppy is feeling so cozy and happy that he starts snuggling up and giving his baby sitter kisses on his paw.
The babysitter gives his little guy a few nuzzles before baby goes back to kissing him.
He starts to get a bit rambunctious again.
Going right in for his babysitters ear. Just gnawing away.
The babysitter then went back to his bag of tricks. He, again, layed his massive head down next to the baby.
Which is hilarious because his head and the baby are basically the same exact size. He assumed that the baby would calm back down again.
But that wasn’t the case. That’s because baby is learning. The little tyke learned that this was just another of her babysitter’s tricks.
So, she just kept on gnawing away. The big babysitter realized that the baby had caught on.
And so, he accepted his defeat and just sat there while baby continued to nibble on him. But the look on his face is just forever priceless. It’s the look of your defeat. The video of these two cuties were posted on the internet and thousands watched.
The video received almost 34,000 views.
“A family that has two beautiful fur babies is so wonderful, love and contentment I would watch them all day,” wrote one YouTube commenter.
“The young pup has the big dog wrapped around the little one’s paw,” said another.
“Wow….just looking through ‘YouTube’ vids to find something to smile at. My search has ENDED!!!” and another.
Dogs even make pretty good babysitters for humans. There are tons and tons of videos of them cuddling up with babies and keeping a close watch over toddlers.
And it seems that the bigger the dog, the better they are at babysitting.
“It’s pretty common among many dog breeds to be protective of children,” wrote one YouTuber.
Despite this fact, it’s probably not a good idea to leave your dog alone with the baby. There should always be someone to supervise. Your dog can’t actually be your babysitter. Still, you should check out the ultra cuteness in the video below.
