We’ve all woke up to some kind of shock at one point or the other.

But almost nothing can compare to the shock this lady felt when she woke up to a mama bear and her cub parading through her kitchen while on the hunt for food.

All about the doughnuts

You heard that right, and it’s something you won’t want to miss.

Unsettling, but adorable nonetheless.

Perhaps the scariest part of the entire situation is the fact the mama bear had her young cub with her, a fact that we all know can be extremely dangerous.

They were curing a craving.

The lucky bears managed to find some donuts that the Taylor family had sitting on the counter.

But the frightened homeowner knew she needed to get them out before the situation went from bad to worse.

Unsure what to do, she decided to make a loud noise to see if it would scare the mama bear and her cub away.

Alicia started brainstorming ways to get the bears out, you can hear her in the video saying:

“That’s our donuts. That’s are donuts. Should I make noise? Should I call 911?”

That’s when she decided to make a loud banging noise, but how would the bears react?

It worked like a charm.

The mama bear scurried away in a hurry, with her cub following close behind

Apparently, these bears didn’t like loud noises, because as soon as the banging began, they quickly made their way to the nearest exit.

In an instant, the frightening situation was over without anyone being hurt.

How’d they get in?

Turns out, the Taylor family had a window open to let some fresh air in, and the bears saw that as an opportunity to score some free food.

The mama bear then peeled back the screen and climbed right through the window.

The first time, but not the last.

What’s even scarier, this wouldn’t be the only visit the bears paid the Taylor family…

The bears came back the next day for some more food, but luckily this time all the windows were closed and locked

This is exactly why they say you shouldn’t feed wildlife, animals remember where the food came from and often come back to see if there’s more.

That’s what this mama bear and her cub were wondering, but this time there was no invitation for them to come inside.

The doughnuts were off limits.

If you live in an area where bears are near, this might make you think twice about leaving your windows open on a summer night.
