Lucy and her dog Skiffle have won the Heelwork to Music Freestyle Final at the world’s greatest dog show, Crufts for the last five years, and you are about to see why.
They beat nine other finalists to bag the gold once again.
See, every year, year Crufts hosts the finals for both heelwork to music and freestyle competitions.
Advanced level dogs and handlers are all welcome to try and qualify for Crufts.
All they need to do is enter one or more of a series of qualifying events that are held throughout the previous year.
The handlers and their dogs will devise a routine of up to four minutes, set to their choice music, then perform them at the Resorts World Arena at the NEC, Birmingham.

Lucy comes out dressed to impress, already looking like she’s on fire while Skiffle just looks super adorable.
And this cute pooch starts things off by playing the flute. What a good boy, delighting his audience with his talents so early.
Lucy then takes over, prancing around as she pretends to play the flute along to the music.
Skiffle follows her around, walking backwards and doing a few spins to the melody.
A viewer named Scott Fuller said,

The tempo picks up and soon Skiffle gets to burn all that energy by running around as Lucy carries on her melodic dance.

And it really was a wonderful performance.
Lucy was so happy she had this to say, “I love hearing that roar of the crowd! Crufts is a chance to see all your friends in the doggy crowd.”
“It’s great to be able to see how all the dogs are getting on and being able to meet up with everyone is absolutely fantastic!” she continued.
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary, praised both saying, “Congratulations to Lucy and Skiffle for their impressive routine. It was of the highest standard and demonstrated the patience, skill and dedication needed from both the dog and the handler.”

No wonder they’ve won for half a decade. Chances are they’ll get the entire decade too!
