Puppies and kittens watch out…some horses have all the charm.

Everyone knows that animals simply going about their day can often translate into pure comedy gold. Horses are no exception. They may seem a little stiff or skittish at times but their personalities eventually shine through.

The trainer doesn’t give up and we love her for it.

The horse is on her back almost playing dead. The trainer attempts to grab the legs again and pushes them up and over the horse’s body. You can hear the person taking the video yelling, ‘now give her a kiss.’ The trainer reaches down with her hand to pat the mare’s nose.

We all need more horseplay.

The third time is the charm right? The video shows the trainer successfully pulling the mare’s legs over her body and the horse finally turns over. The person shooting the video is still rolling with laughter watching this mare’s dramatic display. She is definitely not going to do what she doesn’t feel like doing.

Horse rolling. Yep, it’s a pretty big deal in the life of a horse.

Horses often roll on their own or are trained to roll over. It’s very important for many reasons according to TheSprucePets.com. It can be a way for them to alleviate any irritation from sweat. They also mention that horses roll over to relieve any tight muscles after being ridden.

It’s also a good way for them to stop an itch. They roll in the mud or sand to get a good scratch or to give themselves some protection from the sun or from biting flies.

They roll for enjoyment….or maybe for ours?

โ€œAs well as for enjoyment, a horse will roll to help with shedding their coat and to maintain their coat and body temperature too. Mud and dust can act as a skin conditioner as well as a natural insect repellent. Any irritation caused by drying sweat can be relieved by rolling as the dust or mud has a cooling and drying effect. – horseandhound.co.uk

Marvelous Mare

She may have done it on her terms, but she did it and she had us smiling the entire time. Now watch this TikTok video to see her entire performance. We think she deserves a lazy Oscar for this one.
