Would you believe that animals are capable of feeling emotions?
We usually see dogs jump because of so much joy when they play with other dogs or their human parents. Cats are not too showy, but we love how they cuddle with us while watching the television.
Seeing cats, dogs, and other domesticated animals show these feelings is not new to us, but how about a goose?
Yes, you read it right. Not even geese are immune to feeling various emotions, one of which would be extreme happiness.
A video uploaded on Facebook proved how a goose can hug and coo gleefully.
In the clip, a woman can be seen as she standing in front of a camper. She looks like she’s waiting for something – or a certain someone.
She was quietly waiting, and you would wonder if she was just standing there for nothing, because for the first few seconds in the clip, there was no one in the video aside from her.
Slowly, a white goose appears from behind the house and emerges gradually.
The woman immediately sees the goose who was quietly making its way to where she was standing. Is the goose going to attack her?
Some geese are not too keen of humans and attempt to scare people away by running toward them.
Unexpectedly, the woman spread her arms, as if urging the white goose to give her a hug.
The lady was welcoming the goose into her arms, but was the goose getting the hint? Surely, geese don’t just go around hugging humans, right?
But then, the most unbelievable thing happened.
The goose came running towards the woman!
The animal broke into a wobbly sprint with its white wings spread out. He looked like he was about to attack the woman. However, that did not happen.
When the goose reached the woman’s personal space, the lady crouched down and met him with a hug. Both of them hung on to each other, giving one another a tight and emotional hug.
While hugging, the goose kept on making loud noises which seemed to be happy sounds of joy.
What is happening here? Apparently, the goose is capable of embracing a human, and he is very good at it! He gives a full hug and even puts his long neck next to the woman’s face and shoulder, a sign that he welcomes her, too.
It may look unusual, but this is not impossible. This clip only proves that animals also feel love and care.
The white goose received a tight hug, and he happily gave it back to the woman.
Can you believe this story? If someone told me about it, I would surely find it unbelievable. But, it did happen!
