Smart Animals Finding Hilarious Ways To Escape
Animals are so much smarter than we give them credit for.

Animals, just like humans, hate to be confined in a specific area with no obvious exit. Imagine being left alone in a cell- wouldn’t you try to escape?

That’s right, the same goes for animals. Similar to human claustrophobia, scientists have concluded that animals tend to experience what they call “containment phobia”, which is exactly what we described above: the feeling of being trapped and trying to escape from there. It has been found that it doesn’t really matter whether the animal is confined indoors or in an outdoor area, such as a fenced backyard, with no access to the house.

As a reaction to their confinement, animals tend to chew through doors, break out of crates or kennels, climb over gates, and jump over fences.

In the video that follows, we can see many different species trying to break out of their “jails”, most of which are hilariously successful.

There’s two clever horses: one of them decides it’s too much of a fuss to try to jump over the wires restraining it, so it decides to pass through them, and so it does. The other one has only one option: to jump over the stable door. Of course, it succeeds in this mission and runs away free!

The next “prison break” episode features quite a big dog that breaks free using the tiniest door you can imagine! It’s so funny to see how it fits through the teenie tiny opening! And then follows the tallest animal: the giraffe! It jumps over a makeshift fence, which is just a rope really, but this doesn’t look like a big deal for the immense mammal!

What follows is a clip that shows two canine friends. The bigger one discovers a tiny door they can use to get out, and the smaller one uses this information to save himself. Unfortunately, his friend is too big to fit through the door.

And then, it’s the bunny’s turn. That’s so easy for him since he can just jump! A cute little corgi follows (again the rule of thumb is if your head fits, your whole body does).

Then it’s time for the cutest thing: a green parrot breaking out of its cage, then climbing on a table making its owner worry about the glassware around!

A few more dogs follow, among which one that couldn’t make it till the end and needed help from its human- well, it can happen to the best of us!

Last, but not least, are a pony that decides to go under a fence- how clever is that- and a dog that tries the hardest and scariest escape, opening a window and going out, while we have no idea what there is outside. Hopefully, there’s some kind of railing!
