Just like us humans, dogs can have rare medical conditions that have an effect on anything from how they look to how they walk and behave.

But again, just like humans, these conditions don’t define us – and for one dog, his condition made him even more special. Stevie the Wonderdog is a yellow lab with a rare condition called cerebellar hypoplasia.

His condition affects his brain and makes it difficult for Stevie to move around, but he doesn’t let this get him down. In fact, he’s one of the most playful, silliest dogs we’ve ever seen – and that’s saying something!

Stevie’s human parents created a social media account showcasing the yellow lab’s love for life, and when we stumbled across a particularly adorable video of the pooch having a whale of a time in some muddy puddles, we just knew that we’d have to share it with you.

Cerebellar hypoplasia affects animals in different ways, but for Stevie, he gets a case of the wobbly legs – which is still totally fine when it comes to walking and playing!

He leads a happy, carefree life, and his favorite toy is a stuffed animal called Ducky. In fact, his human parents said there’s only one rule in their house: “Ducky doesn’t go outside.”

Stevie tried rubber booties aka Tap shoes for the first time. We only have tile floors in the kitchen so he doesn’t really need them but I wanted to see how he would do in case our flooring situation ever changes. He did great! He was super excited for the blueberries so he ran/hopped more than walked but without those on he would’ve slipped and fell all over that slipper floor. That’s why we keep carpet runners in there normally. #Stevietryingnewthings #magicpaws #spreadsteviejoy #steviethewonderdog #chawareness #cerebellarhypoplasia #cerebellarhypoplasiadogs #yellowlabsofinstagram #yellowlabsquad #labsofinstagram #specialneedsdogsofinstagram #specialneedsdogs #rescuedogs #rescuedogsofinstagram #adoptdontshop

Since his parents created Stevie’s very own social media accounts, he’s become a bit of an online sensation. He now has over 85k followers on Instagram, as well as over 151k followers on Facebook, and after watching some of his adorable videos it’s not hard to see why! There’s one thing that Stevie loves doing more than ever, and that’s jumping into puddles – and the muddier and the messier, the better!

His owners have captured his playtime on camera, and it’s the most adorable thing we’ve ever seen. The video was shared onto Facebook by GeoBeats Animals, and we simply can’t stop watching it!

Stevie might have a case of the wobbly legs, but as soon as he sees a big puddle, he becomes almost puppy-like with excitement! Watching him splashing around in pure ecstasy makes us feel so happy – he truly is one of the sweetest dogs in the world.

By the time Stevie is done, he is covered from head to toe in mud and is probably more than a little bit stinky, but how can you be mad at a face that cute?

Besides, the sweet pooch is so happy that it’s almost certainly worth it.

As if you couldn’t take any more adorableness, Stevie’s parents decided to buy him his very own little pool to splash around in to his heart’s content. They shared the adorable video onto Instagram, and we also see Stevie getting super excited and trying to catch the water that comes out of the hose, while his mom says, “I know, I know, you love the hose.”

We think that this sweet dog’s passion for life is something that we should all aspire for. We hope that these videos brighten up your day as much as they did ours!
