Nori is a very handsome young fellow with the most gentle of eyes. And that’s why people really love him.
Kevin Hurless and Tiffany Ngo own this handsome one-year-old Australian shepherd-poodle mix. Nori is extra special because of his human-like features. Just look at those large, almond-shaped eyes!

The way he poses and smiles with his astonishing features is extraordinary.
“I think Nori’s coloring is what makes him look human, especially his eyes,” Tiffany Ngo said. “People like to say that his eyes make him seem very wise or soulful. He has a very expressive face – he even makes a disgusted face when I’m painting my nails and he smells the nail polish.”

Kevin and Tiffany live in Seattle. They do enjoy a good walk but it’s Nori who stops people in their tracks thanks to his human-like face.
“When he was a puppy, we couldn’t go more than a block without someone stopping us to ask questions about him,” Hurless said. “It has become less frequent as he’s gotten older, but we still often hear about how human his face and eyes look.”

But it was a photo of Nori that Hurless and Ngo posted on Twitter that really got the dog a lot of attention with over 9000 likes.
Nori is now an Internet star with his own Instagram account. He’s got lots of pictures and his followers love him!
“That’s where we get all the comments about his human features, with some people saying he looks like a giant person or they’re marveling at his eyes,” Ngo said.

Naturally, there are skeptics who say that Nori’s looks are because of a face-swap technology of sorts. Still, he’s got lots of adoring fans!
“Nori is incredibly sweet and friendly and very energetic and playful. He loves all people and dogs that he meets, and just wants to be friends with everyone,” Ngo stated.

The couple couldn’t believe the attention their handsome Nori was getting!
“We knew he had a very unique and interesting look, but didn’t expect quite the reaction we got,” Hurless said.
Kevin and Tiffany try to interact with everyone, even letting people meet the peculiar looking dog.

Nori is quite the socialite, and his playful personality had the couple getting a new dog named Boba, a one-year old Shorkie (a mix of Yorkie and Shih-tzu).
“They get along great and play together all the time, though Nori sometimes has too much energy for Boba and Boba gets annoyed,” Hurless said.

Boba and Nori are about the same size, twice the cuteness and double the fun.
Kevin and Tiffany are so proud of their fur babies and the joy they give others. People just cannot get enough!
“I love reading comments about how Nori and Boba have brightened a person’s day or lightening their mood,” Ngo said. “It’s nice knowing that their little selves may be making a positive difference in someone else’s life, no matter how small.”
