Having a comfortable bed is very important. Some people even pay thousands of dollars for a good night’s sleep on expensive bedding.

Edna is a dog that appreciates a comfy sleeping space.

And Edna, from Green Bay, Wisconsin, always has a comfy sleeping space. But she gets hers for free. She just plays it smart and knows where to find all the coziest spots at daycare. And she does this by making the right kind of friends.

Edna’s routine at doggy daycare is pretty set. She’s been going there since she was a puppy. In the mornings, she goes hard.

She plays non-stop for about three or four hours. After that, it’s nap time.

And she’ll sleep for the entire rest of the day. There’s a lot of dogs competing for cozy stops to nap during this time. But Edna figured out how to come out on top.

This is her scheme. She goes and finds the fluffiest dog she can find who is at daycare that day. Then she makes friends with them.

Then she uses them as a bed during naptime.

Big dogs, small dogs, Edna doesn’t care. If they’ve got a little fluff to them, Edna will nap on them. And her fluffy buddies don’t seem to mind at all.

“All the dogs seem to enjoy the snuggling company,” Brianna Gottfried, one of Edna’s human family members, told The Dodo. “Even the tiny wiener dogs.”

They didn’t mind when Edna was a puppy, but that might not be the case now because Edna’s grown a lot.

Even though she’s a full-grown pup, her snuggle game is as strong as ever. She’s in a very deep sleep by the end of the day. It takes a little bit of effort to awaken this cutie.

“When it’s time to go home I always have to peel her off of another dog,” Gottfried explains.

Gottfried wasn’t sure if this was a normal thing for dogs to do or if Edna was just really good at picking out dog beds (the kind with four legs).

“Does anyone else’s pup look for the fluffy dogs to snuggle with?” she asked on Instagram.

As it turns out, this might be a short-haired dog thing.

“Edna is so cute!” writes one Instagrammer. “Most of my dog’s friends are fluffy now that I think about it (he’s a boxer so I think he likes the fluff to keep him warm!)”

Snuggling is one of Edna’s all-time favorite things to do. At least that’s what her personal Instagram page, where she goes by Miss Edna Rose, says.

“I love to snuggle and play with all my furry friends,” Edna writes on Instagram.

When Edna is home she has to find a fuzzy blanket to sleep on because her siblings aren’t the fluffy type. They are actually two hairless cats.

But they still all like to snuggle together.

“You would think since I love to sleep on warm fluffy dogs, I’d have a fluffy sibling. Nope, my brother and sister are hairless but I still like to sleep on them,” Edna writes on Instagram.

But Edna isn’t complaining. She loves her hairless siblings just the same. And she knows that there will be a lot of fluffy pups to get cozy with the next time she goes to daycare.
