Have you ever heard what an excited cow sounds like?
Probably not, but we’ll fill you in on a little secret… it’s kind of weird.
It’s like an elongated moo kind of yell.
This is exactly the kind 0f sound that Hope the cow makes when her human friend comes to play with her.
Hope is just a baby and a very happy baby at that.
The calf is less than 2-weeks-old and already has an incredible outlook on life that’s full of play.
Hope lives on a farm in Millbrook Ontario and was born on a verdant meadow of thick grass on a warm late spring day.
Her mother Fiona is absolutely in love with her daughter and has been the perfect mother to Hope thus far.
The two love to roam the hills and hang out with the rest of their herd on their farm. Fiona and Hope spend their days grazing the fields, drinking from the pond, and just being cows.
They also have security on the farm. While extremely large, Gus the cow is very much a gentle giant.
He makes sure to watch over Fiona and Hope while they all munch on grass together.
But Fiona and Hope have other friends on the farm too, non-cow friends…. human friends.
Fiona being the trustworthy cow and mom that she is, decided to let Dave the human into her life.
The fact that he brings her corn can’t hurt either.
That’s probably why Hope gets so excited when he comes around.
They liked Dave so much that they’ll even let him get close enough for an ear scratch and some pets.
Hope likes those pets so much that she nuzzles up against her friend Dave.
She acts like a giant puppy wanting to be pet.
But watching Hope and Dave interact is pretty much the cutest thing ever.
That’s when Hope transforms from a puppy into a bunny.
She immediately hops up with joy when she sees Dave. Up and down, up and down.
And Dave hops ups back and forth two.
The two hop to and fro. It’s kind of like they the two are playing a game.
Hope just loves to chase Dave around while making her happy cow noises. It’s just too darn adorable.
Fiona just kind of sits back while Hope and Dave play, watching them be silly.
Fiona is much more docile than her fiesty little tyke.
She kind of looked at Hope and Dave like they were a little wacky.
Hope and Dave look like they can play together all day long, hopping along back and forth in the tall grass.
People on the internet were going crazy over Hope and Dave’s play date.
“Ha, at first I thought it was the guy making those noises. Baby animals are awesome,” wrote one YouTuber.
“Imagine being friends with a cow. Let alone, a calf. Some people are so lucky. That baby is as beautiful as she is adorable,” said another.
“That was beautiful! I wish I lived on a farm, it looks so relaxing, no hustle and bustle! Thank u sir!” said another.
