Tardar Sauce, a.k.a. Grumpy Cat, became an internet sensation because of her surly facial expression that was caused by an underbite and feline dwarfism. Sadly, Grumpy Cat passed away last year, but now the internet is falling in love with a cat who’s the exact opposite.
Sir Meowsalot (Meowser) arrived at a little boy’s home when he was just two months old. The tiny kitten was a Christmas gift for Noah who had pined for a kitten all his life.
When he awoke Christmas morning and found Sir Meowsalot waiting just for him, Noah was over the moon. Even though some cats are standoffish, Sir Meowsalot fell in love with his new owner. He wanted to be in constant contact with his hooman and one second spent apart was too much.
The pair quickly became inseparable!
Ashley Crow, Noah’s mom, couldn’t believe how tightly the two bonded. It’s always joked about how dogs are a man’s best friend and cats are too independent to need a human, but Sir Meowsalot proves that misconception wrong.
“There was an immediate connection with my son Noah and Meowser.”
Even now with Sir Meowsalot as a mature adult cat, nothing has changed between the feline and his friend. In fact, as both Noah and his cat have grown in age, so has their affection for one another.
Cat lovers will argue that felines are much better than dogs. They’re independent and will give you space. They’re perceptive and know just when you need a leg rub or a cheek nuzzle. Cats are quite smart and highly entertaining, yet someone can still get their head stuck in a glass jar.
Cats also emit the most endearing purr and meow that wraps their owner around their little paw. Noah understands this all too well, and can’t deny his Sir Meowsalot the attention he craves.
They are exceptionally close and pal around together all the time. Where one goes, the other goes.
“Meowser greets him with chips, purrs and meows every morning and every time he comes in the door. They play everything together like dress-up to hide-and-seek to riding on Noah’s skateboard and Hot Wheels with him.”
Even sweeter is how the two snuggle as they drift off to sleep. Whenever it’s time for bed or even just a quick catnap, Noah lets Sir Meowsalot climb on top of him and settle down on his chest.
Then Sir Meowsalot warmly embraces his much bigger buddy with what looks like a true and genuine hug.
It’s so cute!
“They have such an uncommon bond and have had it from day one. One thing is for sure, when Noah lays down, Sir Meowsalot lays down on top of him. If you ask Noah who his favorite person in the world is, he will always answer with Sir Meowsalot because he’s more than just a cat.”
Ashley has snapped some of the cutest photos of Noah and his favorite four-legged best friend. They’ve shared some great memories together and fully intend to make many more in the years to come.
