All she wanted to do was fit in. Like any young girl who feels she stands out, Annabelle the bottle calf is doing her best to be a part of the cool group. Because, yes, those other girls are gorgeous, popular, and athletic. They meet all the boys!

Just look at those beautiful horses go. Oh and that mule. They walk, jog, then take off on a full gallop. Look at those muscles flex, those long legs power their toned bodies as they make for the tree line!

Wait up!

It’s a huge, wide open field perfect for horses and mule to stretch their legs and just be free. It takes a few seconds with a massive gap but Annabelle makes it on screen, running after the cool group as fast as her stubby legs can carry her.

And she tries her hardest too! So what if those larger ones have a big lead? The calf powers on trying to keep up. As far as Annabelle is concerned, it’s the attitude and not the looks!

She belongs to the herd!

And in a herd, no one gets left behind. Strength in numbers! Now you may be wondering why there are four horses, a mule, and a bottle calf on that field. Well, it’s all about equality and shared spaces here in Arkansas. Plus they’ve all got hooves.

The first four disappear in the trees but you can bet Annabelle had her eyes on them the whole time. She knows where they went and this calf will not lose them.

Moo-t point.

She looks to be a healthy calf anyway. Doesn’t matter where she is or who she hangs out with. And it’s not like those horses bully Annabelle. There’s a mule for crying out loud! Perhaps they’re testing Annabelle’s fortitude.

Horses are so majestic when they run, aren’t they? The mule, well, close enough. At least it’s putting in the effort. Annabelle may not be as graceful, having to huff and puff her rounder frame after them, but it’s good exercise.

They’re free!

No pandemic can stop these four legged creatures from roaming around. No self isolation, no quarantine required. They can breathe the free air and just run as far as they want to!

This is the spirit of Mountain View, Arkansas. The city is tourism driven with an emphasis on music and its picturesque, wide open areas.

Annabelle never gives up!

Who knows how long she was running after her friends? Those horses can gallop for a long time. And with such a huge place like this one, they would be all over the field. If horses can keep up with trains and bad guys as seen in movies, then this is way too easy for them.

But the likes of Annabelle aren’t really known for long distance runs. They’re more at home grazing in fields, ambling about here and there with the rest of the herd. Of course the others don’t really hang out with horses like this calf. So maybe Annabelle has been influenced day in and out by her friends. So what if you’re different? Try your hardest!
