Crawling can actually start anywhere between six to ten months old, and it finally gives babies a bit more freedom to roam around the place on their own. Of course, there’s still a bunch they got to learn, but it’s the first step to actually being able to walk.

Furthermore, crawling is actually very important in the development of a little one, as it’s the perfect way to strengthen and develop neck muscles, shoulders, back, and arms. In other words, letting babies crawl around is a good thing – plus, you can’t deny that it’s pretty cute and entertaining too.

For this baby girl, crawling is completely new to her. She’s still discovering how it all works, and her loyal four-footer is right there with her.

These two are truly the best of friends, even at such a young age. This affectionate Labrador Retriever is eight years old and definitely has a lot of motherly love to share. Turns out, she’s also a really good teacher – after all, crawling kind of resembles walking around on four feet, just like pooches.

It’s no wonder that Labradors are considered to be one of the most loving and affectionate breeds out there if you check out this heartwarming footage.

“Our little girl crawls for the first time on video but what happened next melted our hearts! Labs are the best family dog ever!” the family said.

The four-footer is just full of love! She was definitely well-trained and has been inside a warm home ever since she was a puppy. She’s the living embodiment of a perfect family dog, and an absolute joy to have around – especially as a small baby. Scientific studies have shown that growing up with a four-footer is actually quite beneficial for a child, and we’re pretty sure that these two will remain the best of friends for many years to come.

Even though it’s always a bit uncertain to see how dogs react to new human family members, these two got along right from the start. Just look at these two and how they love interacting with each other!

Of course, now that this baby girl has learned how to crawl, she can now try and make her way across the floor to reach her four-footer friend.

As for the Labrador, she couldn’t be more proud of her and it really shows. She’s got her full attention on the baby and seems to enjoy looking at how she manages to crawl to her for the very first time. Seeing these two together is just an absolutely adorable sight. Even though it takes a little while, of course, she eventually manages to reach her furry friend by using her knees and thighs.
